ScanBite
Scan. Rate. Remember.
Frame the receipt with the corners/edges and rotate it upright — a tight crop scans far better than the full photo.

To keep everything in one Apple Notes note, no setup needed: tap Share above (or on the preview after a scan) → Notes → tap “New Note” at the top → search for and pick ScanBite Journal → it appends there instead of making a new note.
Advanced: send each scan automatically, without tapping Share
This needs a Shortcut you build once on your phone — it's optional, the Share method above already works with no setup.
- Open the Shortcuts app → tap + for a new shortcut.
- Add the action Append to Note (from Notes) and choose the ScanBite Journal note.
- Set the appended text to Shortcut Input (ScanBite already adds a blank line before it, so entries won’t run together).
- Rename the shortcut to exactly
Add to ScanBite Journal— then leave the field below empty, it already expects that name.
This must be the exact name of the Shortcut in the Shortcuts app — not your Notes note's name. Check it in Shortcuts: tap the shortcut’s ⋯ menu, its name is at the top. Case and spacing have to match exactly. If it still says “could not find shortcut,” the shortcut hasn’t actually been created yet — use Share instead.
